Dior Unwrapped

Maybe you’re lying by the fireplace gloriously overfed on Nanna’s yorkshire pudding, scrollaxing through the ‘puppies of instagram’ hashtag.  Or even comfortably nuzzled into one of those extra large bean bags on a sunny beach somewhere in Bali, sipping mojito’s with your bestie avoiding the fam and all of their trimmings.  Just as an FYI,

Dior Spring 2019 Ready To Wear

There is a full blown MGC cheer squad here at the OF headquarters. It probably wouldn’t take you long for you to guess who the squad leader is with the loudest roar and the biggest pom poms. We’ve long been fans of Christian Dior and the long list of house designers who have managed to

An Ode To Joy

You know that you’ve met the real me when you start to hear the over-use of my favourite abbreviations.  Lols, brb, sozzles and parfait (‘perfect’ in my twangy Australian accent just doesn’t seem to cut the mustard) all rate highly in my own personal urban dictionary. There is something to be said about the

Saddle Up

Argh the 90’s and 00’s, t.b.h they might just be our favourite era’s to reference in the style stakes, think pre-Brad Pitt Angelina, Wynona Ryder circa ‘Reality Bites’ and Chloe Savigny’s early 2000’s tomboyish charm.  But for this girl and the O.F team one of our favourite icons of the era was the Dior Saddle

Île Saint-Louis

When a friend of mine recently asked what time of year is best for a holiday in Paris, she may have thought it was curious that my advice was to travel in Winter when it’s cold and rain is never too far away. I can’t quite put my finger on it exactly, but I’ve always […]

Dior 2018 Ready To Wear

In awe I stepped into a white domed shaped runway, with a roof consisting of shattered mosaic glass. As a long time admirer of the one of the most historic fashion brands, I sat eager at the edge of my seat for what Maria Grazia Chiuri and the entire Dior team had created. Carefully crafted stories have become […]

How Bizarre

This week has been car-ay-zee.  If you’ve been following my Insta stories, it’s been non stop shooting with projects for some of our favourite designers including one of my fav’s Viktor & Rolf. In the past few days I’ve flown on 6 flights, packed and unpacked 3 times and edited over 200 images.  Right now […]

inspiration from Dior A/W 2016

Excuse my partial silence this week, I’ve wanted to blog but when I get free time to do so I’ve been so tired and opting for a nap sounded better. Hey, I haven’t been on vacation yet this year so I don’t feel so guilty for napping. Next month we are ta…

The skirt + trouser combo, not something that you’ll typically notice being rolled out in your local neighbourhood I’ll admit.  But trust me, I’m not the only one that’s fallen in love with this atypical amalgamation (or so I’m hoping). From Givenchy to Phillip Lim, this unconventional couple have sauntered down the runway with the […]
