Lotta Agaton for Marbadol

Swedish stylist extraordinaire Lotta Agaton has styled this kitchen for Marbadol and there’s so much to love about this tone on tone look. With the use of pale wooden chopping boards (these are by Hampson Woods found at Artilleriet), sand colored pottery with dried grass, stainless steel hardware which coordinates with the tap and warm beiges from fresh bread to create a more lived in styling.

While I enjoy spaces like this with low contrast and plenty of negative space I’m curious, what are your thoughts?

A bedroom in pink shows off what’s new from String

A great way to get a taste for the latest offerings from Swedish shelving and storage brand, String, is by taking a look at this room styled with pops of pink. I’d also like to point out that the space if not overly feminine either, this is a pink that…

The Studio of Swedish Stylist, Lotta Agaton

It’s hard to know where to start with a place like this, especially for someone like me who has been an avid fan of Lotta’s for no less than 5 years now. Her style is amazing and her new studio is, to no one’s surprise, as chic and stylish as she is. O…

A home with dark stained wood and oversized artwork

This apartment is like a feast for the eyes, so it’s really no wonder to hear that it belongs to architect Andreas Martin Löf and styled by Lotta Agaton and photographed for Residence Bookazine. The darker wood is seen throughout the home, in tables, l…

If someone were to ask you to imagine a truly stylish living space, what would you see in your mind’s eye? A designer sofa, expensive lighting, pottery or glass accessories or perhaps beautiful but uncomfortable antique chairs? Do you imagine the room …

Relaxed Elegance

News from H&M comes with a collection of premium quality products from the Swedish retail giant that is known for their budget friendly prices. The collection was styled by Lotta Again (I believe this to be true but if I’m wrong please comment below!). The bedroom looks like the home of interior designer Louise Liljencrantz, or at least one of her projects. The wooden dividers are from Dry Things Studio and have been on my personal wishlist since the moment they were released, I’m unfortunately too far away and I think shipping overseas would not be worth the effort.

Take a look at the rest of the collection below along with all the pieces you need to create the look for yourself and don’t forget to check out the SHOP page for more accessories for you and your home!

A seaside castle from the 18th century gets an elegant new look and purpose

Åkerlundska villa is one of the latest interior projects by stylist and interior designer Lotta Agaton. A castle on the water not too far outside of Stockholm was subdivided into 9 apartments by BTH Bostad. The architecture was designed by Ruxandra Halleröd from Christian Halleröd Design along with Helene Amundsen and soon you’ll be able to read more about it in Residence Magazine.

Trends stand at the Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair

The super stylist Lotta Agaton has created a living space complete with dining area, bedroom study and living room at the Stockholm furniture fair and it is, unsurprisingly, gorgeous. She has an ability to make everything so beautiful.

Do you recognize those Nikari April tables I love so much and mentioned recently in my round up of coffee tables?
Lotta also used Frank Gehry’s Wiggle chairs for Vitra, rug from Dahl agency, Alcro’s Shade of Grey Feather paint, velvet sofa from Monica Förster for Fogia, Saw Table/Bench from Friends and Founders, the lounge chairs are PK25 by Poul Kjaerholm and I think the pedestals are from Matti Carlson. Similar lantern pendant from New Works here.

Just yesterday I mentioned Lotta but here is some more of her work that popped up in my feed this morning. I searched for larger images but this is the best I could find! Anyways, she helped redecorate the interior of Filippa K’s Grey Turegatan boutiqu…

getting in that Christmas mood

Christmas is going to be here before you know it and if you’ve been in any stores lately I’m guessing you’re already seeing holiday things pop up all over. Normally I try to wait for Thanksgiving to pass first but this year I’m replay trying to get a head start on Christmas. To help myself, and you if you’re needing it, I wanted to share this campaign for Blossa Glögg.

The rustic table features comfort foods like cheese, nuts, pears, figs and most certainly Glögg accented by vintage silver and warm grey. It’s this elevated coziness and casual worn, lived-in feel that Lotta does so well. Feels like the holidays just from looking at these,

new from String

I wanted to share this news from String 2016,

“We continue our outstanding collaborations with Lotta Agaton (styling), Magnus Ingerstedt (AD) and Marcus Lawett (photography). The end of 2015 was marked by the making and taking of new, fantastic images with focus on showing how the String system can be utilized in the best possible way. Our aim with this year’s catalogue was to display examples of different rooms showing how String fits in everywhere; in the hallway, the bathroom, the bedroom, the living room, in the home office and, last but not least, in the kitchen.”

I am very drawn to these warm colors, they feel so inviting and peaceful.

Hem chain shelf

Hem recently went to Copenhagen with Lotta Agaton and the results are, unsurprisingly beautiful. I especially like their new Chain Tower and the Last Stools.

new String styling

New work for String by Magnus Ingerstedt, styled by Lotta Agaton and photogrpahed by Marcus Lawett.A bit about the pieces featured above:String system | “The base in our history. Just as modern now as 1949 when designed. The flexibility and easiness with the system makes it a Scandinavian classic.”String plex | “Is this a new design? we often hear. But no, the clear Perspex panels was designed in the 5o’s as a complement to the ladder shelf.”String pocket | “The smallest member in our family. So small it fits in almost every space. Now in two new colors, green and cobalt blue.”String works | “The newcomer. Designed by Björn Dahlström and Anna von Schewen it fits at home as well as in the office. The height adjustable table and the free standing shelf makes it easy to create a flexible working space.”
