MONOCHROMES

We are going through this time of the month, when the weather hasn’t decided its style yet, therefore nor have we! Sunny days, followed by non-stop rainy days, followed by all-time clouded and moody ones. This allows us to have many options, though, like showing some skin under layering.

I had actually forgot that my previous post GREY SCALE was also a combination of black and grey, maybe because I shoot it before BLUE. No harm to that I suppose…if I posted daily there would be a tone of grey scales!

We ‘ve seen too many belted coats this season and my collaboration with ESTHER BOUTIQUE allowed me to not only get one of my own, but style it exactly in the way I like it, sliding off! Although I already had a long grey coat, I figured that this would be another great addition to my closet, since its colour is a lighter and amazing shade of grey and its fabric softer and loose.

This time I wanted to engage into a combination that I loved but never tried before, dress and pants layering. I chose only monochrome pieces again and FINDERS KEEPERS were the perfect choice for the main body of the outfit. Once again, I can’t help but highlighting the pants’  zipper at the bottom, favourite detail!

And there it is…cutting the chromatic palette in two, I came up with a light grey top and dark black bottom. The final touch was a big soft black clutch in glossy finish, from ETHIQUE212 to add texture, interesting patterns and a metallic detail matching those beautiful minimalistic and delicate earrings from CHARLOTTE WOONING and KITSCH. I guess there was some earring layering too, after all!
