Turns out, the long coat, jeans + sneakers combination is their favourite winter outfit formula. Obviously, I don’t disagree, as it has been one of my personal favourite winter looks this season as well. Cold ankles aside, I am convinced that Adidas Stan Smith are a perfectly fine choice on winter days. They kept me warmer than any of my so-called winter appropriate shoes and were also way more comfortable.
Plus, I like the combination of wearing a long coat with sneakers – not only is it one of the more easy ways to dress for cold weather, but it also creates the perfect balance between a casual yet dressy look. Definitely an ideal outfit for a spring day as well – just swap the winter coat for a trench.
