Each time I am getting close to my next outfit post, there are several matters I examine. Apart from choosing an outfit, the location is of equal importance. In this particular project there are two factors that I wanted to deal with and highlight: opacity and formations.
The first one is related to colour, shades and tone zoning; therefore comes the layering. Beautiful mixtures of grey white and blue, separated in horizontal sections with one single vertical but extremely strong, wrapping them all!
The second one is fabric related. These pieces work together in perfect harmony, and it is expressed through the silhouette’s movement. Featured again in TRIPLE, this beautiful long trench coat from FINDERSKEEPERS is the epitome of great design. Its composition lets the shape maintain its straight form when static, but also offers an extremely interesting result while moving. Styled with these comfortable and wide structured culottes in the amazing light grey-lavender purple colour from ZAFUL I guess the combination created its own personality.
Moving on to different layering depths, this white top from HYPHENTHELABEL was definitely the perfect choice. The knot at the side with the ribbons hanging matched beautifully the coat’s essence and highlighted the effect even more! If you haven’t already heard of HYPHENTHELABEL the only thing I’ll have to say is how amazingly their pieces manage to combine fresh and young vibes with sophisticated cuts and designs. Great destination to all dear minimalists who crave over their next monochrome outfit selection, but also to all those who are in research of an affordable, sleek and delicate addition to their wardrobes!
Overly excited by my new timepiece, I’m not quite sure If I should just let the images speak for themselves! Beautiful minimalistic design with a white inner, silver details and a thin black leather strap. Visit MOCKBERG for more combinations and elegant selections!
Finally, another new in from L’INTERVALLE! After the ankle boots in WON HUNDRED, I decided to go for something higher to elongate the silhouette and not get buried under the layers! This pair is going to be one of my favourite picks this winter. Too excited for overcoming myself, making combinations that I’ve never done and borrowing pieces from warmer seasons for this winter!
