I don’t know if the term “never say never” applies to anything more than fashion choices in this life but I know I’ve said “well I never thought I’d see myself in this thing” more times than I’m proud to admit. Colorful plaid, for me, is one of those things that was always a no go; check print I’m fine with but gingham was a hellish nightmare so much that I was genuinely upset when I saw the F/W 16 runway filled with plaid earlier this year. Yet here I am in a plaid blazer, a purple one for that matter. Now I desperately need to find some more styling options to integrate this new “thing” into my wardrobe.
