I can remember wanting to live in an industrial loft in a converted warehouse when I was about 14. I was seriously considering a career in interior design at the time and always loved the idea of a huge warehouse with lots of light, that I could divide up into interesting spaces. Over a decade on and I still dream of owning an old industrial warehouse.

Upon seeing these images of Jason Hering’s industrial loft apartment in Eindhoven, in The Netherlands, my passion for owning and living in this sort of space has been renewed. I love all the textured walls, left roughed up and imperfect. The industrial furniture, all dark and moody, fits perfectly with the space. I’m going to have to recreate the coffee table for my garden.

The interior styling and photography were done by Renee Arns.
