Watch Kim Cook talk about Burning Man live from World Architecture Festival

Kim Cook wraps up World Architecture Festival 2017 with this talk on building temporary cities for Nevada’s Burning Man festival. Watch the livestream here from 4.40pm UK time.

The livestream is now live. You can watch it above or on Dezeen’s Facebook page.

Cook, the director of Burning Man, explores how the festival sits in a wider context of urban community.

The annual gathering in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada sees a temporary city pop up featuring artwork and structures of varying scales and materials.

Dezeen is media partners for World Architecture Festival 2017, which this year takes place in Berlin in conjunction with the Inside festival of interior design.

We have been broadcasting a number of talks and seminars over the last few days from both events – including talks by Diébédo Francis Kéré and Pierre de Meuron– and will be conducting video interviews with the winners.

World Architecture Festival took place from 15-17 November 2017 at Arena Berlin. Take a look at our livestreamed talks and seminars from the last few days.
