The Whistles SS15 presentation took place in an underground tunnel in King’s Cross, the setting was clean and industrial. Every season they develop a more challenging collection and my love for the brand just keeps growing. The SS15 collection was fresh, modern and minimalist, lots of the pieces were light and floaty, perfect for the warmer months. The palette was neutral, black and white pieces formed the base of the collection with a touch of pale camel, and a pale lilac-grey palm print. Texture played the most important role in the collection, tear-drop shaped laser-cut leather tops, skirts, jackets and dresses really stood out but it was the raffia detailing that I loved most, something I think we’ll be seeing a lot of next year.
