Photographer Denis Esakov has used a drone-mounted camera to trace the history of Moscow’s architecture, featuring buildings from the city’s constructivist era alongside contemporary designs by architects including Zaha Hadid and David Adjaye. Drones will bring “profound change” change to architecture and cities, says Mark Dytham

Drones will transform the way buildings are designed, the way they look and the way they are used, according to architect Mark Dytham. Dytham, co-founder of Tokyo-based studio Klein Dytham Architecture, said that unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) would soon replace road transport for deliveries, meaning buildings would start “sprouting branches” for them to land on.

Drones and robots weave carbon-fibre pavilion based on moth webs
