Inspired by Jotun Lady fall new colors (more of my favorites can be seen here), I have decided to completely redecorate the hallway. It is a very small space so it shouldn’t take more than a few weeks and I have neglected it for too long now. I love the idea of shelves for storage (plus it is very easy to implement), a hanger for clothes, a basket for keeping bags or extra hats. There are two walls however so I am thinking one should definitely have a mirror for a last look before I go out and a bench or stool so we can sit and put shoes on. Of course all white with natural details will look great, however I am very much into the color swatches above, so I think while I am painting the floors white ( I know Nordsjø has great selection for floors), the walls should have a warmer hue. Washed linen ( second color from the bottom, also check the photo below for more realistic colors ) is my top choice for now, however I might end up with a warm grey instead. I love the Muuto felt basket in sand color, I think it will look fantastic as a contrast. The Gubi mirror can hang in either side of the walls, while the Lind DNA cloth hanger is on the top of my list. For now I do not want to spend too much, so this is going to be on a budget, however I think that since shelves are so cheap to buy and paint over that I will stay well within my limit. I can’t wait to share the final results!
