So excited to have discovered an awesome new British homeware brand, India May Home. Founder and creator, Karen Birchenough describes the brand’s style as ‘Scandi-boho’, a combination I can easily relate to. Their products combine Scandinavian minimalism with more ethnic designs from Moroccan and Indian cultures. Each design has been commissioned from skilled artisans that Karen makes regular visits to meet with. Everything is handmade using age-old skills. They only work with suppliers that promote ethical and responsible business practices.

I’ve picked out some of my favourite designs, from candle holders to plant pots, chairs to rugs. Finding a decent plant pot in London is not easy, they’re either small or ludicrously expensive so I was happy to find the Harinder planters, the smallest is £25 and the largest, £40. The hand block print rugs are all made in Jaipur in India, an area renowned for its textile industry. Their brass stools would be perfect in the bathroom, next to the bath with a few essentials on. And my all time favourite has to be the Acapulco Inspired Chair, inspired by an iconic design from the 50s.

Shop My Favourites:
