During my last stay in Stockholm a little while ago I had the pleasure of staying at the Mornington hotel in the heart of the city. Just a stone throw away from the metro station and a few minutes walking distance from an array of shops and restaurants, with its beautiful mellow style, brass, marble and its welcoming feeling, Mornington is a great place to stay while in Stockholm.
The hotel has a restaurant that is divided in different spaces with different design approaches. In the morning breakfast is served between the areas that stretch all the way to the lobby to enjoy your meal with a cup of coffee, read a newspaper or even pick a book from one of the shelves.
The lobby is equipped with large sitting areas, comfortable couches but also a corner with Macbooks that are available for anyone to use. By the windows, old style leather seats with brass small tables make for a perfect spot for a quick coffee while waiting for a friend.

I stayed in one of the newly renovated suites with a separate bedroom and a living room. The bathroom as well was separated in two with two different entrances which makes sharing the room very comfortable. Furnished with Gubi designs, And Tradition lamps , a full wall of String solution shelves and a carefully curated selection of antiques, the room was much comfortable as sleek with its design.

The bedroom itself was separated by double doors from the living room, however both spaces have direct access to the big balcony with a great view. A small desk in the bedroom served as the perfect spot for the mornings when I needed a little bit of time to send emails and catch up with my work.
