New additions to my home office

For a long time I have wanted to add some extra storage at my office corner at home, and I always knew I wanted to start with adding some shelves on the wall first. I finally decided on a string system but on the top of my office desk the space is limited due to the small width, so a pocket string was the best solution. After I put my pocket up I knew I could add more to it, so I have already ordered a second one to expand on the first. Now I am wondering what to add under the desk for extra storage or on the side, a Hay bookcase comes to mind, but I will have to sleep on it. I know that when I connect my Macbook to the monitor however there is not much space left on the desk for many more things, so I definitely need something to rest the Mac on, while it is still close enough to the screen. It looks as if there is a lot of space, however when I move my mouse I bump on my mug, while on the left side I can barely have my phone and notebook in between the keyboard and the Mac. It is definitely cozy, but I would rather it was also more practical, so more solutions are coming soon to facilitate that.
