Styled By Josefin

Sorry it’s been a little while since I lasted posted some interior design inspiration, hopefully you’ll agree it was worth the wait though. This gorgeous apartment in Sweden was styled by Josefin Hääg and photographed by Emily Laye (two very talented ladies) for Fantastic Frank.

The combination of monochrome and soft subtle colours can all be found in my own home. I love these colours, they’re soothing shades that bring about a feeling of calm and keep the rooms fresh and clean. The small pops of colour, like the green rosemary plant on the worktop, the citrus plant on the window sill and the orange Tolix chairs in the kitchen are all really important. They keep your eye moving around the room as they grab your attention.

The black lamps in the living room at bedroom are by Danish designer Arne Jacobsen. He originally designed them in the 60s but with their contemporary feel it could have been yesterday, a sign of a good design. If you like the linen pillowcases and duvet cover in the bedroom take a look at H&M’s website.

I’d love to know what you think, would you move in here? Please let me know in the comments section below.
