I’ve been into this dress over pants thing for a long time, as long as 25 years to be more accurate, since they let me dress up by myself and I wore my strappy summer dresses over sweaters (another very fashionable twist I added to my toddler style) and pants and refused to take them off. As the years passed that experimental spirit is replaced by desire to add creative layers whilst subtly hiding my thighs and even though being short is a huge obstacle for this style, I still go for it from time to time. Embrace your flaws, embrace comfort.
