This is not a normal beauty post, although I’m sure you’ve already guessed by now from the amount of pulled back plaid ensembles and passionate use of safety googles. You see if you know me well, you’ll quickly discover that I’m a tomboy at heart who loves low maintenance beauty.
Over the last 7 years of publishing Oracle Fox I’ve often shied away from beauty focused content. Perhaps it was years of flipping through overly polished beauty campaigns or even the fact that I was still working out what my own version of how to incorporate beauty into the Oracle Fox girls life. As the saying goes .. everything comes down to timing, and this year more than ever I’ve felt drawn to the idea of exploring what beauty means to both myself and the O.F team.
With some exciting beauty projects on the radar, one of my first collaborative efforts is a passion project with my dearest friend Dr Alison Jamieson who has been my skin doctor for many years. Ali and I go way back to a time when I owned my art gallery before starting Oracle Fox and I can credit Ali for keeping me ageless with her magic touch and scientifically developed beauty range Aliange. If you haven’t yet heard about Aliange then you soon will, with a cult following from the likes of dewy faced babes Lilah Summer, Sophie Hirschfelder, Kitty Callaghan and more it’s the industry insiders go to for dream perfect skin. So with all of this in mind it only seemed right that I would team up with Ali on a dream product together, an intensely hydrating serum with anti-aging properties perfect for travelling and can even been used as an active primer, just what every girl needs ‘OF’ coarse.. no?
And .. for me the best way to tell a story is through pictures so with a vision of shooting two of my favourite faces in the industry prepped with a juicy base of Aliange x OF serum, I teamed up with the incred makeup artist Justin Henry to share our vision how the serum will make you feel .. and we think it’ll be beret good.
The Aliange x OF serum has become our team beauty essential and somehow has managed to go missing on more than one shoot so far .. tbc. So without further ado we think a picture speaks a thousand words, dewy off-duty skin is only a double plaid suit away .. x
