I am not much of a treat yoself person when it comes to my hair. I don’t visit the hairdresser often enough* understatement and I also don’t use all the right products I should be using to keep my hair protected (ehm, heat protection). But the products I do use seem to keep things under control pretty well. Or that’s what I tell myself at least.

Due to the lack of visits to the salon, I am still sort of in hair colour limbo, but I don’t mind it because I quite like this ambiguous shade (is it blonde? grey?). Apparently others like it too, because I regularly get asked what I used to “create” this colour. Well, let me tell you!

Last summer I decided to add a conditioner to my purple routine (this shampoo is the best!) and it’s truly the good stuff. It was recommended by my hairstylist in Vancouver and I have been using it every wash ever since. It not only helps with the colour (be gone brassy tones!), it’s also very nourishing for my dry hair. And it doesn’t hurt that the packaging is pretty nice as well.

What are your go-to haircare products? Any good heat protection sprays out there…? ;-)

* Speaking of which: can anyone recommend a great hair stylist/colourist with a thing for blondes in Berlin? Please email me!
PS. Not a sponsored post, just happy to pass the purple magic along.
