I own quite a few shirts, they’re a weakness of mine but with good reason, I tend to wear them a lot. In a shirt I don’t feel scruffy even when I’m opting for a casual look. They also reflect the androgynous style that I’m so often drawn to. They’re the foundation of many of my outfits and it’s taken me years to find shirts that work for my style and shape.
Baukjen are one brand that I turn to. The lovely fabrics they use are soft on the skin and hang really well. The cut is tailored perfectly across the shoulders but not too fitted around the chest and stomach, they have a borrowed from the boyfriend feel without swapping you.
I’ve styled two of my favourites which you will find in their current sale, the Teresa cotton shirt and Coco chambray shirt. I will be wearing these all year round as they’re pretty seasonless, the Teresa with its longer length is also the perfect beach cover-up.
